Right there with you in the field
"I want you to know that I switched to using Marshall equipment because I found that you guys had a superior product. I still have a completely functional RB4 but stopped using it just as soon as I verified Marshall's superiority. Several years ago, I won an entire telemetry system in a raffle and it sat in the box all these years until last season when I finally gave it away to a young, struggling falconer in Montana. I did not use that system for the same reason that I quit using my old reliable RB4. . . because my Marshall products are better and therefore more likely to do the job of preventing an untimely loss of a hunting companion. If, someday, a competitor makes a better product, one that does a better job of helping me not lose hawks, I'll switch over to their stuff. The thing is, I just don't see that happening. You guys have been at the forefront and leading edge long enough to give me faith in a continuation of excellence. I truely appreciate the forward thinking Marshall does in its product development - always reaching for the next milestone. Keep it up."

Marshall Radio tracking receivers have a distinctive look and rugged one-piece design that can be easily carried with you into the field. They are now used by thousands of happy customers in demanding situations all over the world.
Heavy duty tough, yet lightweight and simple to use, these proven tracking receivers from Marshall Radio also give you the highest level of performance (sensitivity) in direction-finding receivers in the most ergonomic designs.
The Digital Field Marshall has been totally redesigned with 1KHz channels, a smaller profile, a new polyphase noise floor reduction feature and a Quick-Release removable handle.
This newest receiver design incorporates the new generation smaller version of our patent-pending spring-loaded, collapsible three-element yagi antenna that can be deployed to full size in seconds when you need to get a signal. The compact design is the ultimate blend of convenience and high-end performance.
All Marshall receiver electronics are still protected inside extra rugged cases machined from solid blocks of aircraft aluminum and hard coat anodized for long lasting protective finish. All have backlit control panels for night time use. All have both headphone and AC adapter jacks.
The center-of-gravity is focused at the top of the handle so that the unit feels light, pressure free and perfectly balanced. The result is a distinct sensation on long walks that your new receiver is much lighter. It also stays balanced in the hand without requiring a tight grip as you track a signal. And rotating the receiver 90 degrees to check for signal polarization is effortless.
Yet when you remove the "quick-release" handle, to hold the receiver by the body, its new narrower width and rounded corners feel smooth and secure in the hand. It's a pleasure to own and use.
The New Field Marshall UHF receiver, 2014 model, is now avaialble.
Building on the success of the original Field Marshall UHF design, the next generation still retains the features customers loved on the first UHF receiver such as the tiny yagi antenna, compact and portable form factor, and superior range over VHF based receivers. But the 2014 model offers several additional improvements such as temperature compensation (no need to retune when chasing a far off signal as the temperature changes), improved pin point accuracy for searches up to the last few feet, and even better sound quality. It also has a new distinctive color scheme, which identifies our UHF equipment line going forward.
Each receiver still comes with a field holster, but it's very small shape and size makes it a "pocket receiver" capable of being slipped into your Hawking bag or section of your Pineo Hawking Vest.FM UHF 100: $695 (434 MHz)
