Transmitter Services €35 each: include new antenna, new tail spring, clean battery contacts and an overall test for performance. If you are experiencing any issues with the transmitter(s) please provide this information in the notes when you check out.
Please put the correct quantity of items being sent in. Services will not be provided until payment is received.
You will be responsible for shipping your items in for the services.
If any of the products sent in for services are not repairable you can apply the credit towards any Marshall Radio product within 90 days.
You will be charged for shipment at checkout for this service so you will not need to pay for shipment of the item(s) when they are ready to be returned. If you want to order additional items with the purchase of these services your additional items will be held until we can send it all back to you together. If you are needing the additional items sooner you will need to place a separate order or you will be charged for these items to be sent separately from your serviced items.
In Between Season Suggestions
These simple steps for storing your transmitters during the off season will help extend the life of your tracking gear.
Remove any dirt or debris from the prior seasons hawking.
Store equipment in a cool and dry place, where they cannot accumulate dust, dirt or grime.
Remove batteries before storing and the battery contacts lightly with rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab. You may also use a dampened cloth to wipe down the exterior.
Inspect antennas and replace any that are kinked, damaged, or showing exposed metal filaments.
All batteries should be stored in a cool and dry environment. Keep batteries in a vapor-proof container if you are in a high-humidity environment or if there is a risk of condensation (including in the fridge). Isolate the batteries so they do not come in contact with one another, which may create a short and damage the batteries or cause excess heat generation.
For rechargeable batteries in addition to storing in a cool and dry place you should fully charge them prior to storing for the offseason.
If you purchase our services please send your items in within 3-4 weeks from the date of purchase. If your items are not received within that time we will try to contact you for updates. Service purchases will be automatically refunded by 4 weeks if we have not received your items within that time and have not received an update. If your items are sent in after a refund has been processed you will be contacted to pay for the services received.
When sending any repair items to the UK, please state on the customs forms that this is a return for repair. Please note all customs fees for items sent to Marshall are to be covered by the sender. If customs fees are not paid this may result in a delay or your equipment being returned. If you have any issues or need any further information please contact us and we will help you through the customs declaration forms.
Customs should only declare the cost of the repair, not the total cost of the equipment being returned.
