The system frequency is the communication between your GPS transmitter(s) and your Pocketlink. The system frequency is not the same as the frequency used to track with your “beeping” UHF Field Marshall Receiver. For instructions to find your “beeping” frequency click here.

To find your system frequency go to your settings in Aerovision and scroll down to “Pairing Settings”. Please see image below. The number needed is next to “System Frequency”.

Why does this number matter? The system frequency allows you to pair your devices as stated above. The number that is chosen is important if you fly in an area that is frequented by other Marshall GPS users. If you are flying in a field with another Marshall GPS user and they are using the same system frequency their GPS transmitter location may override the location of your GPS transmitter (and vice versa). Our office randomizes the system frequency of every GPS system before it is sent out to try to avoid this issue however it’s not impossible that this may occur. If you need to change your system frequency go to the settings as shown above, change the system frequency number and click edit then follow the steps carefully to pair your devices.

Android Users: The Aerovision Beta application on Android devices does not have the feature to change the system frequency. If purchasing a new GPS transmitter it will be important to provide your system frequency as well as the number transmitter (1 through 5) so the transmitter can be programmed and already be paired upon arrival to your existing Pocketlink.
